    @dragstews Ya got a lot of toys don'tcha. In that vein, have you ever repaired a bbc front timing gear face where the torrington bearing went bad and dug into the block surface?

    If this is truly a 75 it should be a mechanical gauge?? Try a different add on mechanical and see what it reads

    Yeah, I', just NOT a very trusting person. If I buy a crate engine, I'm probably gonna take it down and "check" everything before it goes in. Just me, better being "hands on"
