    Color code rear step bumper

I worked at a Chev/Cad dealership from July 1968 to September 1980. We sold a ton of pickups thru those years and I would bet that 95% came without rear bumpers. Our parts department had 3 or 4 outlets for bumpers......and they came in different shades of white or gray/silver.

    First thread 1982 C10/C20 differences

Upper C20 control arm attaching bolts are quite a bit bigger. C10 control arms will NOT bolt up. Upper C20 ball joints are heavier, too?? Best bet would probably be a complete C10 cradle?

    Doubledingo's 2005 4x4 Tahoe LS

Not so........My drain plug was installed on the bottom/outside of the pan and NOT in the dimple. Drilled the hole with the proper size hole saw and welded the bung and installed the plug with the proper gasket. Also picked what looked to be the lowest spot in the pan, so not hardly any residue...

    Doubledingo's 2005 4x4 Tahoe LS

@DoubleDingo You may be right. I've got a 2 post lift, so that makes it easy, also a wire feed and enough experience to make a mess....lol..No matter which way you do it, just do it, right? I think I put mine closer to the front, maybe in the middle? Don't remember? Where ever, just keep it...

When you pull the pan to do the filter, that would be the time to put a drain plug in it. Autozone O2 bungs and corresponding plugs are dirt cheap. YMMV
