    Don't remember. Looked at one that was kinda lumpy and then picked the next one down......bigger! He's got a Muncie m21, so all he has to do in put the clutch in and let it rumble........pedal cars rule!!!!

    My machinist grooved the Comp Cam I am putting in the .030 396 that I am installing in my son's 68 ChevyII. He told me that cam was harder than anything he's machined in a long time.

    Those indentions are NOT causing the oil leak, they are minor. Unless the surfaces are not square, those covers shouldn't be the problem. The pcv system should be sucking enough to NOT allow the breathers to back flow......leak out? Are there baffles in the covers below the openings? OK went...

    I personally would rather use the cast covers, they don't get out of shape if you get to zealous on tightening the bolts. Also you could JB weld the offending hole and then smooth it on both sides? IMO the "tin" covers need a lot of help to maintain no leaks.
