    Yes you need a rebuild the seal died sitting for that long. however you can try this, we have bought a couple extra years on a 4l60e with a reverse that was chattering. I usually dont go for the snake oil in a bottle but you have nothing left to loose..

    been there done that, broke 2 or 3 of input drums in my Camaro at the drag strip. the only other part that broke in that transmission was the spag , it let loose when the rear end grenaded and locked

    I took my rear leaf springs apart and swapped leaves from side to side, alternating leaves with more of a curve with those with less of a curve . This took away most of the lean.
