radio question
so what I am starting to hear is that without a good ground maybe that is effecting my reception. Hanging the antenna 6 feet in the garage, not being grounded is playing into my lack of reception- Ken B

I got a 10 buck cheap antenna from Auto Zone....my truck is in the body shop so keeping busy with little things . got a radio a speaker and a battery on workbench- Ken B

I am trying to put in an old school pioneer radio in my truck....or should I say back in my truck after 20 years. My issue while just testing on my workbench , I can only pick up a local HS radio station. No commercial stations. Everything seems to be working ok ,knob and display all seem to be...- Ken B

What have you done to your square lately??
I wanted a brown color but the 81 color was kinda flat and no sparkle. I found this color and it has enough pop/color flop . I am very pleased and anxious as hell. But -5 degrees and anywhere from 3-12 inches of snow this weekend depending on which weather turd you listen to. Its best its in... -

More Progress....!!! Most of the bed is painted and cab interior, today is tailgate, doors, parts and pieces-hinges, glove box, ash tray.....etc -

I am looking to have a good looking bed, red oak planks and stainless hardware. I was just looking for experiences of what does and does not work. Hard finishes cracking and peeling makes sense. Yes the truck will be parked inside garage. Will it be out and about yup.- Ken B

I am trying to figure out how to stain, seal and preserve my wood bed. any input, experience would be appreciated. I am thinking of a semi transparent stain then just have the body shop use clear coat to seal it. Is interior stain ok to use if the clear coat will be the " protectant"? Oil...- Ken B

tailgate wall mount brackets
anyone know where to find stepside tailgate wall mount brackets? I found a set a couple of years ago (brother trucks maybe?) but now can not find them. It is brackets to mount the tailgate to the wall to make a workbench or seat.- Ken B

my c10 is actually sitting in the paint booth, waiting for compressor repairs. Waiting on a part for week or two now....box of paint and supplies sitting right outside the paint booth door....ready, willing, NOT ABLE.....so close -

I have not done anything to my truck in MONTHS...at the body shop and the waiting is tough. I keep telling myself its January in Indiana snow showers and 16 degrees. I just have to be patient because I wouldnt drive it fresh out of the body shop in this weather... -

Factory 3 point seat belt harness.

got a spray out of potential new paint....old vs new....little more metallic. 90% certain this is the color the color flops dark out of direct light..but gonna do a couple other options -

Factory air cleaner/cold air setup?
I did the same as last post. I had a 6cyl went to 8cyl just did the knock out and got the extra plastic connector to go in core support for the unused opening from the opposite side
