Got the engine running yesterday. very pleased that it fired off so quickly. I have a new fuel system so was concerned about leaks , problems. New tank , lines, fuel pump. tested new fuel pump by cranking disconnected fuel line at carb into a milk jug, great flow. hooked up the fuel line to the... -

temp sensor
before i look at replacing this temp sensor, am I correct to assume the sensor is only the smaller diameter brass that is in the block? the outer brass is a bushing? thanks in advance- Ken B

What is this sensor?
this picture enlightened me, my sensor connection point looked like a hollow "pipe". looking at this picture i can now tell mine is a nail head that the "head" was knocked off. old thread still spreading information thanks- Ken B

thanks for passing the help. or I might just stand there and stare at the truck trying to decide where to start......once I get started its fine, its just getting a starting point. Got the cab mounts tightened and torqued gonna get doors close if possible then get the fenders on. gotta loosen...- Ken B

I will get some pics I have just been scratching my head on getting the door to sit back farther in the cab. since the hinges have bolt from inside and outside. I am saying it is off I would say double what it should be maybe. Not looking for perfection, just close and something that doesnt grab...- Ken B

that makes sense. it just seems odd that the pass door seems to sit forward in the cab , big gap in the back(latch side) and no adjustability.....these are all "new to me" they werent from the factory together.- Ken B

I feel like I am chasing my tail on body panel alignment. Looking for experience/ wisdom from others . I locked down the core support and hung fenders , doors are on the replacement cab, bed is on the frame. Just start from the core support and start trying to adjust panels? THe pass door is...- Ken B

Sold , had a guy pull up my drive today while i was doing yard work and wanted to talk about my donor, 45 minutes later he had a flat bed tow truck in my drive and some dead presidents . -
85 C10 Silverado step side brake line routing
have you looked at the lines/drawings on LMC Truck for ordering. IIRC they show the routing. I got a complete set for my 81c10 stepper and it was all good. -

replaced brake proportioning valve (2nd valve) gonna reinstall radiator and refill cooling today as long as other things dont pop up in life.... -
