    Sorry to hear that, an its one of the reasons I made that thread. I have only run across a handful of people over the years that are truly happy with a 3/4 drop. Good luck getting the truck where you want it to sit, I'm sure you're not looking forward to redoing all that work either.

    Well it's empty again..... for now :evillol: It was only moderately sketchy for being by myself. The wireless winch control was the only way I would have been able to do it. Had to constantly guide it an the provided wired remote is no where near long enough.

    I picked the RTXs partially because of that. Having the speedo go to 160 is a waste of space imo. I also like how they look much better than the others. I might not use all the features on them but since I'm going to be staring at them the most the looks are most important.

    I like them too, I have one in my c10 also. I just wished the blues matched better in this one for him. I had to build that frame, ditch the 400 brackets an use some universal sliders to get them that low. Basically same steps as when I put those 800 seats in mine that I didn't like lol.

    Vinyl, leather is harder to stretch an glue on the curved portions. There would be more seams if it was leather.

    If you want one that fits an looks like factory then Cheyenne pickup parts or usa1 are the best ones out. Both are a long wait but that's the price if you want the best. Alternatively find a upholstery guy that will recover your factory core. A little more expensive but not as long if a wait...

    It's the inlet for the hvac box, you'll have to pop off the cover that's seam sealed over it. Easier if you pull the hood too.

    Ya with everything dark in that interior that wood would drive me nuts. It would need to match the bezel for me to keep it. I'm not huge fan of wood though. Trucks coming along very nicely though.

    Is that a fancy power slider I see? The riveted joints suck. I usually drill all the way through them, grind the head off then air hammer them out. That's if I cant talk them into replacement arms anyhow. 4x4 lowers are tough to get too though

    I agree, they are much better an more comfortable in a daily driver roll than a 4th gen F-body.
