Noisy speedo, but not the cable? Help!
I recently purchased a brand new one and it came with a different clip! Could it be that the old style clip is not locking it on all the way? I haven't installed the cluster yet so I can't help with the drivability test.- hoagster

The only thing I would do is buy the Autozone stock! AZO it's price @ 3,409.25/share and dropping some because of forward guidance for 2026. @ some point it will do a stock split in order to make the share price affordable to more investors. This is only my 2 cents the stock market is risky and... -

Temp install, need to attach the fenders, and align everything. light housings need some polish and paint not going with plastic new. Too much stuff in the way with the holidays. -

Hydraulic booster options
Do a search for Hydro boost with your year make and model and you will find some aftermarket ways to fix it. Look at this thread the guy used a 1998 setup you'll find some part numbers and info of how what he used. It's not going to be easy or cheap if you were wanting a shop will do it...- hoagster

That's awesome! Sounds like my story my dad bought this truck brand new and when I retired from the Air force in 95 he gave it to me! And it will go to my son so it will stay in the family.- hoagster

Thank you for the response, I'm running A LM7 which has hydoboost Steering pump and I'm not sure it produces enough vacuum for the old style master. So I was looking for ideas for replacement. That setup with my existing pump should fit the bill!- hoagster

Ls swap electrical issue
Go here and find what you guy's cutout! You only need 4 wires to connect and start the ls motor. But if you removed critical wiring for the truck you need to figure that out first. Good luck. You might want to say hi to the group first! Welcome from Norcal...- hoagster
