    Made some progress in the cab today! More triming to do, but my vision is getting there. considering a 73 didn't have all those moldings the vinyl floor is looking better. wish I could shrink some of it. The speaker boxes will fill in the corners.

    Here's my setup so far, mocked it up to make sure it works then removed everything so I could install the vinyl floor which is still in progress!

    Refresh in near future

    This and no brakes prompted me to tear down my whole truck. I have to admit every thing was leaking! I know it's taken a long time to get her back to where she is now but It was worth it. Still have a lot to do.

    Here is a pic. of my 73 frame. I know they changed but can't tell you if it will affect the mounting. as you can see they are rounded on the end instead of cut off.

    I Built a new bed from @TotalyHucked employer since the original was beyond repair from years of hauling loads of road base wood, you name it. Not mention a couple of tractor dings. The original bed had the oem fuel hole on the passenger side and Ford style and non oem tank on the drivers side...

    I would change out the old wiring, I had to do that with mine. Got tired of crawling under the truck and jumping it with a screw driver, after changing starter, battery etc. It will last for another 40 years.

    Take some pictures of the area, also if you follow the other advise by having someone turn the steering wheel and observe. If there are the steering box shouldn't move at all. It will be apparent if there are cracks.
