How challenging is replacing brake master cylinder?

Gravity bleeding is my favorite bleeding method. Watch the brake fluid drip and have a beer.

How challenging is replacing brake master cylinder?

Spray some penetrant like WD40 on the lines and fittings. The lines sometimes seize to the fittings and can be twisted off.

    LED bulbs in gauge cluster

Cheap LED bulbs suck, they are often broken out of the box, or die soon, their sockets are wonky and don't make contact. For a cluster get dimmable quality LEDs. They are expensive.

When to stop trying to fix all body imperfections?

It's called Hofer in Austria and Slovenia only. Aldi bought a super market chain in the 60ies named Hofer and the name Aldi was used from different company, so they kept the known name Hofer. Hofer has gas stations with cheap gas in Austria.

Paddle / Camper special mirror gasket and glass replacement

Bus cheap aftermarket tow mirrors, butcher them and use the glass plus gasket in the original mirrors. Mirrors on ebay are 30$. This only works if the mirrors are the same for the glass but the gasket could be used. Worth a try for 30$ and we all would know if the mirrors are the same size...

When to stop trying to fix all body imperfections?

I repair rust damage, that's it. My K5 is painted with a roller and 1 stage paint. Didn't even fix the dents as I make new ones anyways ;D. I wash my rides every second year or so. Looks good enough for me from 10 - 20 feet distance.

    Dana 44 front differential vent

Welcome from Austria. I would buy a threaded fitting with hose barb and tap the hole like Bucket said. Attach a piece of hose with a vent valve to the fitting (the cheap plastic thingies). You don't want moisture or water in your diff.

    Let’s talk PCV systems.

The vacuum of the old and new engines is in nearly the same I guess so it should work. Run it. My 0.02$

    Let’s talk PCV systems.

I have stock valve covers with baffles but still there is some oil and other stuff in the vapor that gets filtered out by the catch can. PCV valve matches engine vacuum. I don't know if it does any harm or carbs up any parts but I prefer do not have this stuff in my engine.

    Distributor

Looks like an emergency key fob to me. Have never seen a part like this in a distributor.
  22. ali_c20

    Let’s talk PCV systems.

I run a catch can air oil separator in my pcv line, works great. I empty and clean it once per year, depends how big the catch can is and how many miles you put on your rig. They are a ailable from various manufacturers. Moroso has one with a petcock to drain the can.

    Wheel spacer question

I run Bora / motorsport tech steel adapter style spacers. They are great and made in USA. Get new wheel studs just to be safe. Link to my thread when I got the spacers. https://www.gmsquarebody.com/threads/bora-wheel-spacers.31643/ Link for steel spacers...
