Corvette Cruise Control
I think the same cruise control system was used in many GM vehicles with gas engines. The transducer was used from the early 70ies up to 1980. Turn signal lever with the cruise knob is the same in Camaros, Impalas, Pontiacs, El Caminos,... I don't know if the transducers had different...- ali_c20

Long term storage first startup
Welcome from Austria. Search Youtube, many videos on starting engines that sat for decades. E.g. Vice Grip Garage. I would start it first, hear it running, see stuff spinning, produce smoke and smell, that motivates me do dig in the other areas that needs attention. :D- ali_c20

Mutt gauges?
Use the foam as a template, drill 4 holes in the corners of the shape and cut it out with a dremel or something similar. Refine the shape with needle point files and paint the edges black. That would be my approach.- ali_c20

Swapping Q-jet bodies and guts, Frankenstein style
Measure the bleed holes, idle down tubes, jets and metering rods on both carbs to see where they differ. I think swapping parts and increasing some hole sizes should work with the right Q-jet book. That's my guess but I could be completely wrong.- ali_c20

I know 2 different jack styles and there could be more. The ones with hook and without hook. My 79 K5 had the one without hook. The mounting orientation and side on the fenders also changed. Also different jack instructions for C and K trucks and years. I found images of decals but not for all...- ali_c20

I only have driven 2wd cars in winter ( K5 is only used during no road salt season ) and we have snow, ice and mountains in Austria. Get good winter tires and chains for deep snow. Real winter tires, not all year tires or offroad tires. Adjust your speed to match road conditions. Driving too...- ali_c20

K5 Frame Crack Honest Opinion
My K5 frame is not cracked and I installed the Offroad Design bracket to be safe. I run 32" tires. I also put the 2wd bracket in my C20. It's a cheap insurance as steel gets "tired" with usage. The quality of USA1 and LMC amount of parts, shipping and customer service would ruin me. Made a good amount of orders from LMC and never had a problem. 1 time a part was missing and they shipped it within a few days to Austria.. -

Rear disc conversion brake line pics and suggestions, need pics.
I went braided stainless steel lines all the way from the hard line to the T to the calipers on my 14FF. Custom made by a company in Germany with 10 years warranty. I think this lines will outlive me.- ali_c20

1977 Buckskin vs. 1979 Camel Tan
When I bought my interior parts for the C20 every part had a different shade of tan. I hoped ordering from 1 shop will give me matching colors but nope. Be prepared to spray the parts to have 1 color in your interior. Use SEM or VHT vinyl dye, this stuff works great. -
