    That's correct. They're a centrifugal pump just like the water pump. If you ran it backwards it would still move air from the center to the outside, just less efficiently.

    Definitely change the hoses. Also check all the caliper hardware, sliders etc. for freedom of movement.

    I think Vince has taken a leave of absence, but from what you're describing I would consider a fuel supply issue. Try running out of a separate tank, bypassing as much of the vehicle fuel system as you can and see if the problem persists.

    @Matt69olds would be the expert on these things, but judging by the casting flash I'd say that's how they're made. Once you get the case clean I would deburr those. Obviously it's not too critical if it made it this far, but all that sharp, thin metal sticking out would drive me nutz.

    If it was me, I'd measure between the balljoints and divide by two. As long as your frame and suspension are in good shape that's more relevant than a hole the factory put in the crossmember.
