I was thinking late 60’s also. But then I found a serial number decoder site, and according to the information there, this one seems to be a 59 model. I don’t know how accurate that information is. It’s based on the first few numbers.mine being 83xxx puts it in the 59 model range.- bigcountry78

I sold the rally wheels. My only options right now are steel wheels or wagon wheels. I like the 31’s, but my truck seems to sit higher than most other 4x4’s for some reason. They don’t quite fill out the wheel well.- bigcountry78

Trailer brake trouble
After the first test I didn’t have tail lights. I pulled both plugs apart and had two wires crossed up on the truck side. Fixed that, and double checked the trailer side. Everything looked good there, but I’ll check it again when I start back in on it.- bigcountry78

I have a manual transmission, and I verified that I tapped into the cold wire on the brake light switch. The trailer should have a good ground. Well, it did while I was testing.
