    They’re definitely not needed, especially for hauling stuff, and towing a small tractor. If anything, the bigger tires will hurt my towing performance. I’ve decided to leave it alone. It makes the most practical sense.

    Too bad you’re so far away, I have 5 leaves in the rear and two in the front. I’d swap for the heavier springs since I haul and tow a good bit.

    Just now got the shocks on. Haven’t taken it for a drive yet, but good lord the Ranchos were shot. All four you could push right in and they wouldn’t come back out. You could also hear the oil bubbling inside. The new ones can barely be compressed enough to get the bolts in.

    My new Gabriel shocks showed up today, hoping to get them on tomorrow. Was going to do it today, but I got tied up doing anti flood stuff on the house. Sometimes owning a home sucks.

    One other thing I should mention, I had the rear shocks off a while back for whatever reason, and they didn’t have any rebound. If you pushed it all the way in, it stayed in. I was always under the impression that they should push back out if they were still working. But, maybe that is a Rancho...

    And that’s ok, I did ask for opinions lol. I love my truck, but It’s hard to justify $500 worth of shocks on anything that isn’t my DD. But, I figured just about any new shock would be an improvement over old ones.

    Yes, I definitely recommend a sway bar. Even in my stock k10, there is a noticeable difference in handling. Rides better too, in my opinion.

    I went ahead and pulled the trigger. $65 after shipping for a set, Seems like a win win. I know they aren’t the best on the market, but they’re sure to be better than my current setup.
