    I think I found that same system at my local Lowe’s, on sale for $99. Probably going to pick it up this Friday when I get paid. I don’t need anything top of the line like the Milwaukee pack out, I just want something mobile that can hold everything together neatly. Good to know it’s working well...

    That’s a good idea. For now I just throw the battery in the bed of the truck until I need the winch. My trailer stays locked inside a shed when not in use so I’m not too worried about theft.

    Selling a couple sets of lights that I have hanging around. A set of KD brand driving lights. Great condition and both work, only downside is on lens is cracked. Might can be repaired, or a replacement might be available on eBay. $15. And a set of Hella 500’s. They work great. No cracks...

    Ok, new question. Would that big pin in the 7 pin plug be enough to power a couple of led work lights on the deck of the trailer?     Thanks guys. That answers that, I’ll just go with a set of wires to the battery and a plug in the bumper. I had a trailer set up like that years ago, but that was for a 9,000 pound winch. I was hoping I could get away with the smaller wiring since this is a much smaller winch.

    I spent the better part of the afternoon putting a 2500 pound winch on my 6x12 utility trailer. Got the winch and switch mounted, now I’m trying to figure out the power situation. Short term fix is to grab the battery out of my square and just use that, but I’d like a longer term better...
