the beast is done. Satellite radio and all. Fixed all the ductwork in the dash, and replaced all the retaining clips for the dash as well. Amazing how quiet it is in the cab now, and it’s definitely not quiet on the outside. 496 stroker with a healthy cam profile, long tubes and 40 series... -

Kick panel Speaker Mounts
I saw this post while i was redoing my interior and used the speaker mounts from LMC. I didnt use the cheapo speakers that came with them and decided to go with some not so cheapo, but still cheap speakers (kicker 6.5) instead. I also sound deadened both the cab metal, as well as the underside...- Beast496

lol, til now, I've been driving it with ripped up vinyl on the floor, mouse turds everywhere, and the aroma of mouse pee. Also, the heat and smells in the cab were amplified by the long tube headers, so summer days,...well,...it really was an experience. -

Thank you. I haven't seen it either. I'm not sure how long they'll hold up, but easy enough to recoat them, and I can always replace the sill plates with stainless down the road. We'll see. -

Dash is in. Broke a clip so it’ll have to come out when I get the clip in. Had to do a lot of trimming and manipulation to get every screw started. But all in all, it fits “ok”. Probably about as good as the original did from the factory. Which is to say, not good at all, but it’s on there, and... -

Well, got to get a lot done today. The wife told me to lol. Got the rest of the wiring done, all the speakers installed minus the sub, which I’ll do in the morning. Carpet is installed, sill guards installed. Tomorrow will be the back cab carpet, sub, seat and then waiting on hvac ducting and... -

If it wasn’t for NASCAR and football season, I probably wouldn’t mess with the satellite stuff. I use this truck for camping trips, hunting, etc. It’s nice to listen to a race, game, etc when you’re out off the grid. -

A little more progress today. Got some commitments this weekend that will put a halt to this until next week(the whole Mother of my children thing lol). Ran the antenna wire for the SiriusXM antenna. Had to pop the back glass out a bit but thankfully the seal is still soft enough to do that... -

Got the kick panels installed and all the wires ran for the amp. Definitely not a direct fit, and drivers side had the challenge of the hood release and parking brake but I made it work. Waiting on some knobs for the retro sound head unit. Thought they came with it. I will have to undo the... -

Final product on the doors. I’m happy with it. Also, figured out the kick panels. You have to trim the existing passenger side panel to keep the vent, then overlay the panel with the speaker, then screw them together. All good. -

A little more progress last night. Also, a question for anyone who has installed these front kick panel speakers. Do they go over the existing panel, or do they replace them? Specifically the passenger side, as it has a HVAC vacuum cannister attached to it. I haven't tried fitting them yet... -

Coated the door sills with the saddle tan. will also do the speaker covers in the doors as well as the kick panel speaker shells for the front, and the speaker mounts in the rear. -

More progress. Heat shielding for the floor, got the passenger door sound deadening done, panel installed. new window regulators for both doors went in as well but no pics. I was too busy cussing the wing windows to worry about taking photos at that time. thankfully the wing windows are still in... -
Interior color combos for Ochre (Spanish Gold) exterior paint
In the process of redoing my interior right now and here is the saddle tan sprayed on my door panel, although the lighting kinda gives it a green hue. It would look good with your color combo I think.
