Th400 deep pan and refresh?
I actually do the same. I have my dipstick marked to .5in. below the sealing surface on an ATI deep finned pan. no more leaks for me lol. to the OP's question for hard and soft parts, I go through Oregon Performance Transmission only because they're close, fast shipping, and I can build the kit...- Beast496

I'm pretty sure I have one sitting in a box that I was going to use on my build, then found a late 60's drum set up for six clutches, so I put the 4L80E drum on a shelf. I'll look today. I know I have a bunch of other odds and end parts and pieces, and some of them are of the "go fast" variety...- Beast496

Th400 wont go into 3rd
No third gear almost always ends up being the direct clutches used up or low pressure which will be the same result. If that is the case, it's just a matter of time before you lose reverse as well. I'd put a pressure gauge on it and see what it reads for line pressure at idle and through the...- Beast496

Glow Shift Gauges review
I had them on my 05' Dodge Ram when I bought it. They are problematic to say the least. They didn't like cold weather, would randomly change colors, or not light up at all. The boost gauge eventually stopped working so I threw them in the trash. Don't buy them, is my recommendation.- Beast496

TH350 won't shift into drive or reverse
Bottom port on the radiator should be the inlet from the transmission. I had to rethink my TH400 and TH350 memory bank. lol- Beast496

Transmission oil filter and gasket

Holley Brawler Headaches
When you say "13 degrees advance" do you mean 13 degrees initial timing? For comparison, I run 34 degrees of total advanced timing in my built 496. Maybe our terminology is off.- Beast496
