Tapping the starter with a hammer is a quick fix for worn out or stuck brushes. Not starting when hot may be a different issue with the starter. Not sure a hammer will help with this, cut it couldn't hurt. Either way, I would install the mini high torque gear reduction starter and heat...- Chevy 88

I have several different types of fuel filters on the shelf, including the one you sent a link to. I only used the glass one because it was handy and I have a bunch of them. Wiper park position changed on it's own?
Before replacing the wiper motor, I would try forcing the wiper arms back into place. Don't go crazy with it or anything, but see if some firm pressure would "pop" it back into the proper position. It might damage the wiper motor gears, but if you are replacing it anyway, you might as well try...- Chevy 88

Wiper park position changed on it's own?

Anybody try AT-205 for leaks?
I have used AT-205 for years. Its great stuff. It does not cause rubber to swell, the way other stop leak additives do. You can easily test this if you want. Just take 2 brand new seals and soak one seal and not the other. No swelling will occur. I have found that it has a very high success...- Chevy 88

You probably need a starter, but more testing would be required to be sure. I had a starting issue once. I Installed a 1,150 CCA battery, but that did not solve the problem. (I had an extra one laying around) This did solve the problem:- Chevy 88

A leak that causes the peddle to drop will barf out about about 1/2 a shot glass of fluid with every pump, so it won't take that many pumps before your are either out of brake fluid, or have some driveway art to slip on. Well, if it repeatedly bleeds down - then there is a loss of pressure. Either through the master cylinder piston seals, or an external leak of some sort. It should hold firm indefinitely. -

That could be. Might just be a funky master cylinder. Try starting the engine and then pumping the brakes several times, and then stand on the peddle. After 30 seconds, does it bleed down at all? Do you lose any peddle? -

You could try soaking all that stuff in water or WD40 to see if the moving parts free up and start working properly. Something might be binding. -
