    Wiring Harness journal

@Juggernaut - here are a few more pics. The wiring was plugged into the switch that's held on with the white zip ties. I never did find anywhere the vac line was attached to.

Thanks for the info. I'm getting to the point where I'm ready to start on the new harness but not quite. I still have the cab harness to remove. @Juggernaut - I'll get some better pictures and maybe a video for you when I get back to work on that

I don't... The line wasnt plugged into anything under the dash, just hanging loose. Do you need the harness?

A few more pics of the rear harness. It looks like a weird tee connector for the trailer wiring. There's also that strange blue wire with orange stripe that was spliced into the driver's side twilight wiring, and then just terminated. No clue what that's about

I'm actually going to buy all new sockets all the way around. I'm also debating whether or not to go with LED lights all the way around as well

Tomorrow will be trying to get the cab harness or the rear harness removed, maybe both. Tomorrow is my last free weekend day for a month or so, so hoping to get a good chunk done

    Wiring Harness journal

I spend a few hours and finished up on removing almost 100% of the engine bay harness today. I got the wiring harness for my Pro Flo system disconnected and laid aside. I have the rear harness that has the wiring for the tail lights and fuel pumps, and the cab and AC harness left before I can...

    Wiring Harness journal

Hey all. I'm starting on my complete rewire as of yesterday. I thought it'd be interesting to share progress and keep a little journal, so here's the first entry. 77 K10 that was bought a few years back and I've been slowly fixing up. For Christmas I asked for a Painless kit, and I've been...

Best aftermarket gauges for Pro Flo?

I'm not real fond of that one but thanks for the suggestion. I'm thinking I'm just going to go with the Autometer Invision setup

Best aftermarket gauges for Pro Flo?

Good morning all. Getting ready in a month or so to completely rewire my 77 K10, and I want to install a new gauge system at the same time. I'm looking for something that works with an Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 system. The Dakota Digitals are nice, but I think I'd rather have something a little more...

    Filler neck components

I have a 77 (supposedly). I have a fuel door on driver's side, but just the gas cap on the passenger, no recessed fuel door. I ordered the 77 fuel necks and hoses from LMC when I replaced both my tanks. The passenger worked perfectly - the driver side I had to cut in half and extend with a...

    Hydro boost install not working

Just finished this up today after way too long. My problem ended up being a defective unit. I returned it to Performance Online who sent me a replacement, and the new one works perfectly For anyone in the future, the Performance Online unit has an adjustable rod for the booster. At least in...

    Hydro boost install not working

Haven't done that yet. Does that involve removing the brake pedal assembly? I've been looking into buying a replacement that already has the correct hole, but can't seem to find any
