    All time 4x4 / NP203 Truck Questions, hard to make tight turns

    My 1st instinct would be to see if it is in Loc as that will cause it to fight on turns. Both ways, however, not just right. Just get the transfer case lever in Neutral and pull it back 1 notch - that will be regular 4 Hi, not 4 Loc. Got pics of the 77 ? :)

    Oh, I wish ! :p That is where the cable for the shift indicator connects to the trolley. The cable came loose yesterday and during my reattach attempt that happened. Thanks to the aftermarket DIN radio that is mounted to the bezel :321:by the PO or whomever dash work sucks. I guess it...

    Non-stop horn honking

    Have any pictures of the install ? The horn is constant power but only works when the circuit is ground by the horn pad. With *only* the lock plate and cancelling cam installed I cannot mentally picture what could be causing that unless the turn signal switch went bad randomly or the relay...

    Dash turn signals not working

    Are you certain the bulb holders are making good contact with the printed circuit board ? I have had issues with that with Goldie - the plastic of the cluster is old and they do not hold as tight to the board as they would have new.

    According to the RamCharger FSM's ( 73 thru 80 body style ) only a small portion of current was shunted thru the ammeter. Yet, if disconnected, they would not run ... HMMMM. Mopar wiring in the old days was never known to be the best !

    Tire size or possible lift recommendations for the 79’ K30

    My 60 year old opinion :rofl: is it has a good stance now and adding a lift will be dollars, labor, and possibly driveshaft issues for little gain and potentially more difficulty climbing in. I'd vote to keep it as is.

    Odd cable/control going to foot feed.

    I suspect since the PTO has to be run in neutral and the lift requires the PTO driven pump so the line lock is an additional failsafe to prevent movement. Sounds good - may even be accurate. :waytogo:

    700R4 Lockup Torque converter control issues solved

    On my 1980 TH350C (lock up converter) that green plug is a test point for the converter. Since the color is the same I would assume the function is the same for your 700R4.
