You need this…. It’s a put ‘er back together truck but claims to have all the parts, every nut bolt screw and new clutch etc. (Probably only take you half a weekend to have it back in one piece the way you work) Plus just the wheels and the new 8” lift are worth the asking price. -

Check it out! Your truck could have a big brother. Looks like it’s more than worth the asking price too. It’s a straight solid truck and solid project if you find the add. One of those needs time but not a lot of money or parts to be a running complete truck. -
Would you run these lug nuts? Studs are a little short.

Too much tire?
Nice truck! What @bucket said…gear ratios will determine if you’re helping or hurting on road driving characteristics with bigger tires compared to the power loss simply from size. Axles? Pffffft. Who cares…It will be fine. Horsepower and catching traction suddenly doing a 40mph burnout breaks...- Grit dog

Missing a bit of side molding on my 85 scottsdale...
Ha crazy, I saw a whole trucks worth of it this morning. 80s K10 with the original black trim doing about 70 down the freeway. Still sporting original paint (silver peeling off of black primer). Had OE looking clearance lights on the cab. Unique option as well. -
Would you run these lug nuts? Studs are a little short.
Theoretically you need about 10 threads of engagement or the same length as the lug diameter for full engagement and capacity. However seems you’re correct based on your numbers you’re at least 2 threads shy likely. Did you count rotations though? May be a bit better than you think. Remember...- Grit dog

Never really lost steam here, imo. Which is a good thing. I use FB marketplace a lot but it’s crap. For vehicles there’s no division between private and dealer. But even CL, now many for sale by owner vehicles are Russian (I use that term loosely as they all seem to be of Russian or Eastern...- Grit dog

Fair enough. My point was to hopefully be taken by the OP that randomly looking for a large used part without being specific about location (a $25 used rim is not worth driving far for or shipping). True story. But not like anyone who doesn’t live close to “somewhere in Texas” could be of much help with a used wheel. For new. OP, look at US Wheel or Wheel Vintiques. Do not confuse USWheel with US Mags unless you have a tight grip on your wallet! But man, haven’t looked at US Mags in a...- Grit dog

You’re getting ahead of yourself I think. Right now you’re somewhere between a bunch of diagnosis and fixing what’s broke to get a fan blowing hot air on the windshield vs spending $1000 to $2500 to rebuild OE AC or gut the whole mfer and install aftermarket heat and AC. The stories about days... -

What have you done to your square lately??
I generally try to use a heat gun or just a lighter if open flame. Too small of area makes it hard to not burn it with a torch. -

Same here. That failed connection @bluex posted was just done wrong. These connectors aren’t magical wire welders. But if you twist the wires together and don’t blast it with a torch I think they work pretty well as designed. Anyone could botch a crimp or solder splice as well. Doesn’t mean... -

Just add or subtract 63.5mm from your current offset. Moreso, do a little studying on offset and backspacing so that you understand it rather than asking for a magic answer. And don’t call it backspacing around @bucket…- Grit dog
