    I solved my issue by ultimately adjusting the rear pinion angle up more. I shimmed it more than I thought was necessary based on the math a I did, but it worked so I'm not conplaining. I can now go very fast and it's a smooth ride.

    I've heard good stuff about auxbeam. I was turned onto beamtech/techmax from another forum... so that's what I went with. It's hard to argue with bulbs that cost less and have better light output.

    For reference: 383 stroker. Crew cab. 35in tires. 4.10. Turbo400. Np 205. Holley sniper. 8-9 mpg. Sounds about right to me.. especially if you drive with conviction.

    I should mention the ac kick was worthless. The engine could not care less about the ac compressor. For reference the engine is a fresh 383 and the a/c system is all new.
