weird steering column issue
Youd have to get down into where the steering column upper collar housing attaches to the inner bearing housing to see if the screws are loose or have fallen out. I think there are three Philips headed screws holding them together. If it rotates that much my guess they have completely fallen out...- xm20k

What have you done to your square lately??
Mine are super basic 1.75" fender well headers with 3" slip collector, 2x 3" 45s, 2x 3" couplers, 2 x 45" sections of 3" pipe, 2x Ultra flows, 2x 3" 90s, 2 band clamps, and 2 hangers. I love the glass pack sound. I was running a set of Dynomax 18" Racebullets they were way too loud basically just made the headers deeper sounding not quieter. Could be due to 3" slip collector into 3" pipe and mufflers. Went to the Ultra flows basically the same muffler in an oval case with... -

Chambered mufflers like flowmasters basicly baffled with no packing. -
Power steering Pump Bracket
Brackets mainly were all the bolts are. Were the brackets connect to the pump and the block. If we can see the mounting and what brackets are in use it'll help figure out why it's not sitting correctly.- xm20k

I'm turning 2800-3000k at 55 with a 4.56 with a cam that has .600 lift and 252 @50 with a 28" tire and no overdrive a 4.56 or 4.88 with OD would allow it to still have power with the higher final drive at a more reasonable rpm. I think that has more to do with pulling and twisting wires is hard, plugging in a USB dongle and it just starting is easier. -

If you're doing truck stuff and running under 5000RPM making 350 or less, manifolds I don't think will matter much from what I've seen. Soon as you start stretching its legs and/or making more power a set of cheap headers are probably better N/A when running a full exhaust system. I've seen GM...- xm20k

Not a Type II. I run one with an attached res. What you have is a Saginaw design pump doesn't matter who made or rebuilt it, it is a Saginaw P series pump. Can't see from the pic but kind of looks like an ICT bracket set up and if so, it may not be assembled properly, or the belt is entirely...- xm20k

Can I remove my ecm (88 - 94) and still maintain the factory abs braking systems
Might be easier to find a manual truck or use a non computer controlled trans depending on how deep in the woods you want to get with it. The one I did was because thetruck was cheap $500 and I already had a sbc basicly ready to run minus exhaust and the fuel system mods. -

I left it in there i just found keyed power for distributor and tied/taped up the unused harness/plugs -

I did a 350 in a 92 5 speed truck was originally a v6 efi i did have to install adjustable fuel regulator and gage with return, other than a check engine light due to missing a couple sensors she ran fine.
