    70" I believe with a TH350 mine is 72.5 due to the powerglide. Mine only came close to the cab floor directly under the seat area but a BFH solved that issue with a small dent.

    Mine is an aluminum 5" at 72.5" center to center but that's because no one would build a steel one longer than 60" for over 500HP.     Filled her up cost me almost $100 and drove her to work today. Has a slight hesitation at tip in thinking the K&N air filter in the adapter is a bit too small, think I'm going to pick up the screen filter they sell for this setup and try that.

    You won't be able to get to the bolts at the bulkhead behind the cab unless you unbolt it and slide it rearward 8"-12". If you look at Hucks pic in post #3 you'll see the bolts in the lower left of the pic that are hidden behind the cab.

    Nice. Those numbers are fine, betting she spins nice and smooth by hand with very little effort as well, that's right in the range of where my last build was, with 10-30 she fired up and idled with right at about 50-55 psi.

    It's a good enough check to see nothing is too far off. Of the dozens if not a hundred plus rebuilds over the years I've used it as a final check on every one and it caught a miss machined crank and probably saved several thousands worth of damage.

    Correct! :happy107: I knew I was forgetting something. The one that used the longer one used a slip yoke for the driveshaft, didn't it? I didn't play with many 4x4 versions of these trucks.

Ignore the powerglide length marking that has nothing to do with a 4x that is to show were I need this one cut down when I find a machinist to do it. So a 205 will fit a TH 400 from a car...

    Swapped out the passenger fender was a pain it fought me more than the driver side, and it didn't help it was almost 90 degrees. Now just need to get the wheel well trim on and the hood cut and repainted.

    Cams atleast the non custom grinds are almost always ground 4 degrees advanced. I believe it's for better idle vacuum.

    You can but you might need to use an angled fitting to clear the distributor.
