    Should I go POSI???

Oh, yah too much gas in a turn even when it's dry hell even in a straight line it can get loose add wet and it can get out of hand in a hurry. A posi unit is not as bad as a spool because it at least will differentiate when you back out of the gas, a spool will fight you thru a turn gas or not...

    Steering Geometry Question

Those pics give a much better shot of the situation. A remote filter unit and a bit of massaging looks like it'll work.

Nobody warned me about the MPGs on these square bodies!

Just too tempting. I finished up wiring the line lock button to the relay box yesterday and of course you have to test your work.

    Steering Geometry Question

It only has so much fore and aft movement one side will bind in one direction before it has fully travelled, and the other direction won't move much fore and aft but will not extend far enough with the offset arch. You would need to keep it parallel to the other end but the way the drag link is...

    Replacing The Quadrajet

You could get a AVS2 or similar eddy carb and an intake for that kind of money.

Nobody warned me about the MPGs on these square bodies!

Did the math for the C10 I'm at 298mi on 50 gallons of 93 at $4 per gallon puts me at 5.96 miles per gallon and about $200 thus far. Pretty much right in the middle of my 5-7 estimate. $200 in the ranger of 87 would be 67 gallons and about 1200 miles.

    This can't be good....

Always found the 70s race inspired liveries to be the weirdest color choices. Almost like they should be on a baja vehicle blasting thru the desert rather than a 2x on the street.

    This can't be good....

So, it's the speed at which they operate? I've always just cut them out and replaced them was just curious if there was a work around that would still protect the wiring and was easier to deal with. Give me the mechanical stuff all day wiring was never really my thing.

Could you put something like this for instance in place of a fusible link? Then carry a handful of spares. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/prf-80001

As noted, the 4 bangers gas milage is fine it's just a boring to drive commuter with heat.

What have you done to your square lately??

The tint defiantly keeps the sun from baking the interior I've only just put mine in, but it makes a noticeable difference. The three panel ones are more expensive for some reason. LMC sells theirs for almost half of summit but theirs is back ordered...

    This can't be good....

How the hell! AI? Well based on that I might have to just go ahead and do it, despite it stripped out the wing and bed cover I like it.

    This can't be good....

I've been considering doing the black stripe/panel on mine to fit in with the hood but without the trim. I'm no photo shopper so my attempts to edit it to see if I'd like how, it looks have been utter trash.

Around 18-22 I think my commute is all back roads basically, highway would probably push it up to around 25-27. It's parked in the front yard now because single lane driveway and I've been driving the C10 and if I need to make a quick run especially late at night it's easier to get it out and...

    Engine preoiler dirt cheap homemade.

This I believe is what they are probably referring to which you pull the gear off and hack up the housing of a junk distributor to make for whatever engine you need one for attach your drill and go to town. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-901015

Behold the mighty 2010, 2wd, 4-cylinder, automatic, Ferd Ranger. Talk about a gutless boring to drive pile. A full tank of gas gets me 3-4 weeks of driving to and from work only. Currently has 130k. One more winter and she's outta here.

What have you done to your square lately??

I didn't even think of that, but it probably would work pretty well. And I have a buddy who Keeps spools of the stuff on hand for his outdoor adventures I could have gotten a bunch of it.

    Steering Geometry Question

Never mind it's the oil filter location that is blocked. Was seeing the sender that can be corrected with an angle adaptor. If you suck it into the frame, it's going to change the angle and how far to the right it can move. and at that kind of angle, it would need to extend and collapse as it...

What have you done to your square lately??

I fought my new rear window over the last 3 hours by myself. Don't be like me get a helper what a pain. Was going to put a plane glass window in but the tinted ones were on backorder so another slider it is. Worked for about an hour and a half got it started part way up the sides propped it in...
