    That is true. I don't have a good pic of my truck but when I was driving it back in the early 90's all my buddies called it the "Pumpkin" because it was more orange than red.

    I've got an '82 K15 Diesel truck that I never could get the title for. I replaced the inner and outer rocker on the passenger side and patched the driver's floor section that had a little rust.     I had no radio in my old 76 K20 rock rig & had an aftermarket A/C blower mounted behind the space. I’d turn that sucker on & get a cool blast straight to the jewels! It worked great in Summer & when trail riding/rock crawling. HS

    I'll take the striker bolt from the door and the lower hinge and have a jig to bolt in with threaded rod for adjustment. When removing the floors and rockers the cab may have a tendency to spread open. With the threaded rod you can move the cab post if needed. HS

    Go get that cast iron greatness & start banging gears. I have a slip yoke NP205/SM465 in my 55 Chevy on 76 K20 frame. I pull trees and whatever else happens to hitch into the pintle-hook. No worries

    Mounting fender emblems should not cause this much anxiety!

    You can get a template from on of us & drill the holes. To keep from pulling the fenders you can use a "barrel nut" insert to hold the emblem. I used these over 20 years ago when painting my 72 Camaro & the emblems are still there & firmly placed. HS

    Looks like you have electric choke on the carb. The PVS works with the choke on the Q-jet that was a "stove" or hot air operation. It is also tied in with the emissions system with the distributor vacuum advance. If it's not leaking coolant then I'd let it ride. Great looking ride as well. HS

    Welcome Tim from Central NC. That is a ported vacuum switch that the top half is missing. With the carb that you have there's no need in replacing that part. Show some pics of the truck too please. HS

    76 GMC clutch pedal bushing hollowed out.

    You can get the pedal bushing to replace the missing ones. Dad's ole '79 C20 clutch pedal does the same dance; moving left as far as down. HS
