NP203 stuck in Neutral, lever will not budge HELP

I pulled the floorpan on my 76 (30 years ago) & adjusted the case shifter with a 1/4 drill bit. NP 203 are temperamental at times. HS

NP203 stuck in Neutral, lever will not budge HELP

While the engine is running, try pulling or pushing on the lever with the trans in neutral. You can try shifting the trans while moving the t-case lever as well but it will give some unhappy grinding should it decide to shift.

What have you done to your square lately??

I had to trim the passenger area around the A-pillar, use some longer screws over the ashtray & 2" drywall screws along the top of instrument cluster. I've seen in some other posts where folks complained of fit issues with these aftermarket pads. For the $275 spent instead of $400...

What have you done to your square lately??

Well, I didn't get the truck cleaned nor fender emblems mounted. I did get my new dash (JEGS) installed as well as getting the interior glass cleaned. I painted this truck back in April & still have not washed it. After getting the running issues solved maybe now I can move on to getting it...

What have you done to your square lately??

I just got in from our annual car show where we had 64 attend. The best truck was a 74 LB 2wd that I failed to get a pic of. Anyway, I've pulled my 87 V10 from the bean field & gonna begin cleaning for another local event next weekend. I have new Custom Deluxe emblems to add to the fenders as...

    91 Suburban Shopping Category

I started work in the parts house when turning 18 (1992). There were plenty of new-ish RV trucks on the roads then. When dealing with the CKRV issue I would often ask if their vehicle had a vent window. If you could only imagine the look that folks give when they're asking for a clutch and I ask...

    Found a tilt steering column

The 88 has wiper controls on it but it will still work for your truck. You'll just flip your ignition switch harness upside down to plug in. You can even make a jumper harness from the floor dimmer to the column & use it too. HS

What have you done to your square lately??

I took a few minutes today & swapped the PCM from my parts 91 Sub over to my 87 V10 that I have recently upgraded with 4.56 gears, lockers on both ends & 6" lift with 35x12.50's. It has been running terribly rich with erratic & surging idle. It never had a DTC or MIL & I figured the Atari...

    2.5 Ton Axles for 1974 K20

The 74 K20 should have a decent Dana 44F and a 14FF rear; those are two great axles to use for a general purpose wheeling truck. The obvious upgrade would be the Dana 60F and do some gearing to accommodate for larger tires. I have wheeled the crap out of 44's, 60's and 14FF's with no real...

    Show your daily driver

Well, usually the students will drive okay. The other drivers on the road see the yellow sign and it's like meth to the head as many of them will do some of the most ignorant and blatant aggressive and reckless driving maneuvers around us. With that said, the student drivers can spook the sh-t...

    Sm465/np205 short mount spacer?

I had listed my older trucks because the 81 up stuff is hard to come by here in the Sandhills. They all have the "figure 8" adapter & the newer NP208 that I have has the large round adapter & it may be close to the round on an NP205. That’s why I mentioned maybe having to use the "w" on the K5...

    Sm465/np205 short mount spacer?

Mine are 76 K15 & K25 & 78 K25. I have an 84 K5 that I'm swapping in an NP465/NP208 that will probably need the "W". I have a crossmember from a K30 that's different & I reckon that's because of the frame height difference. It doesn't have the biscuit mounts. The OP has what looks like an "80...

    Sm465/np205 short mount spacer?

I have a pair of K25 & K15 trucks with the flat crossmember with no spacer. They use the OE biscuit 2-piece rubber mount. HS

What have you done to your square lately??

I was able to score one for my 78 K25. It's missing a few bars around the hood release & I'm gonna use some from a donor 85+ grille hopefully. Nice work you have there. HS

Cab repair - Cab corners - rockers - floor pans etc

I mentioned earlier in your post that I have a good cab that I've already done the rust repairs on if you're interested. It's an '82 K15 Diesel. I have a few pics that I can send now and can get plenty later as well. HS
