    Gone & done it again!

    I pulled the trans & case down so that I can replace the flexplate. The starter drive looks decent as the starter looks to be new. I'll post more pics & news when I can wrench on it again.

    Time to regroup. The flexplate is the worst I've seen. As evidenced by the metal chunks & Saturn Rings in the inspection cover. This CUCV may get a 454 & SM465.     Dad's was deluxe 2-tone & had the upper & lower molding. I have those to put back on it. He wanted the newer plastic junk instead of the metal "racetrack" put on. Here it is in the early 80's.
