1978 K10 auto to 4 spd manual swap

Started making my bracket for the frame. Im using the dual shock bracker to attach it too because its right there and it uses 1/2" bolts. Seems to work pretty good. I pushed in the clutch a few times while someone turned the shaft and it disengages pretty good. Im sure I've got everything...

1978 K10 auto to 4 spd manual swap

Marked out my clutch pushrod hole and realized I was off but not too far. I noticed these dimples for the boot. I drilled the dimples with a pilot hole and then I cleaned off my mark, remarmaked it and drilled the hole with a hole saw and I think it all looks pretty good. I may have exaggerated...

1978 K10 auto to 4 spd manual swap

Somewhere i do have a somewhat correct cover in the way that its for a 4x4 manual but its for the 205/203 shifter hole. I need to modify existing either way and no room in budget or time to find one. Besides its not a show truck, I'm okay with the modifications.

1978 K10 auto to 4 spd manual swap

Got my template for hole mark. Its a little different and has history behind it, its a 1973 C20 low hump floor pan. My truck is a high hump but I think its perfect for marking the shifter hole. Im a little nervous because it doesn't totally align up but I think I got it close enough for a mark...

From what I understand, the n series gearing doesn't work for a cultivator attachment because of its gearing. However you can once you install a Sherman. Its like another transmission with another set of gears. I've seen one or 2 in person

    Good Lord, It's a couple of Fords (1964 Ford 2000 & 1949 8N)

Yes they can. You can run a brush hog and box scraper etc. Can't run a cultivator unless you have a sherman in there. The 2000 might be able to run a cultivator??

Pulled up carpet and found some typical insulating material. However look at that round piece cutout. It looks to me to be the perfect shape for a 4 speed shifter hole? Was thinking of using this for my template only cutting 1-1/2 inch to the inside to begin with. Does that look right??
