    3/4 ton GMT400 Burb & ORD SAS and 6BT Swap

    Got both front mounts on and drilled 3 holes for each side, pretty easy. Each bracket uses 9 bolts to mount it. (4) 7/16"bolts and (5) 1/2" bolts. The rears have to be measured and then set and all of those holes have to be drilled out im pretty sure.

    Going to probably modify it with an air/ vacuum switch so that its still selectable. If it wasn't going to be a daily id probably go i little different route. But For the few times a year it gets used im sure it will perform well.

    Broken U-Joint Strap Bolt Question

    Id either helicoil it or you could get a longer bolt and use a nut on the back. However Helicoil or something of that nature will be the best solution so you can use all the same correct hardware. The autoparts store can get new strap bolts with the straps in a kit.
