    I've gotten bad alternators before recently. Had my alternator guy check it and found it was missing a bushing and fan was scraping the housing causing some good noise.

    It actually runs! Started up like it was just running a minute ago lol. Did nothing but put a battery in it and some gas in an external fuel cell and boom

    4L60E interchange compatability question

    Good Saturday to all. I have a good 4l60e transmission in a 2003 K1500 suburban and wasn't sure if it would work electronically with the 1996-99 or (97 more specifically) K1500 suburban. I did some searching and it seems like it might but I didn't get anything concrete.

    Yep that's the one. Not that bad a job. Maybe it would last longer with some Hilomar sprayed on it.

    Is it a Briggs single cylinder ohv? Those blow head gaskets often. I've changed many of em.

    I was actually seriously gonna mount it to my roof like a visor lol. I'll trade it out with a worse one. I think it looks cool for a tuff truck.

    Can't find the torque converter bolts for my th350 trans. Is it 3/8 or 7/16 or metric? And what grade is it? I'm going to the hardware store to see what I get based off what size sample bolts I can find however I'm sure some of you will know right off.
