    Starter gets stuck

One tiny little question; the solenoid spring is installed correct? Knurled starter bolts being used? O'Reillys definitely can bench test starter operation and perform a load test on your battery, then report back. Also if ya get it figured out make sure you are using the starter torque strap...

    Starter gets stuck

No mention of a flywheel inspection. Pull the torque convertor cover off and using a flywheel tool look for sections on the flywheel that are "mooned out" and it will also let you know if it's locked up, try avoiding the crank bolt to turn the engine over and is the torque strap still attached?

I used to use steel wool to remove the residue, once the vast majority of the paint was removed. By brushing paint remover on the left-over areas and scrub with the steel wool then rinse off or use a damp rag.

This isn't the first time this has happened on this forum; I do believe another member posted the same problem somewhere here.

    Let’s talk PCV systems.

Good question and I as well will be watching the replies. Was thinking about putting purty chrome valve covers on mine but was gonna keep it in line with stock setup so I’ll sit back and wait for responses. One cover with oil input and one with pcv was how I was told on OE pcv engines.
