Got the last section of transfer case sandblasted and powder coated. Cleaned up the gasket surface on the other two sections. Getting closer to putting it back together.
Went and got the transmission for the Extracab today. I've been talking with our resident transmission guru. It will be the first transmission I have ever rebuilt. We'll see how it turns out. Just needed it for mock up. Also got the chain case on the NP203 powder coated, came out nice.
Got the transmission/transfer case cross member welded up, some of the holes were messed up. Got it ground down and painted. Got the polyurethane mount tins powder coated.
Got some floor jack stand storage racks from TMR. They had a sale, and I had a credit, so I got them for 30 bucks... I'll powder coat them red, maybe neon green. We'll have to see.
I got my bolts for the transfer case in yesterday. Started polishing them. Should look nice against the gloss black. Stainless steel locking flange bolts. A bit pricey, but hell I'm worth it.
I got a set of cross bucks from the 50s. They haven't really changed much over the years. I hung them up in my shop today. Hung up a couple of mini surf boards I got on our last cruise.
:welcome: We've been having some small issues lately. You should be able to post pics from day one. Try posting a couple of more times, if you still have problems let's us know. @MADDAZ maybe you might help.
I'm just starting to rebuild my NP203. From everything I have read, and all the YouTube videos... Did you put pipe sealant on the bolt threads when you reassembled it?
