What have you done to your square lately??

Have you always used the sandpaper? That could have something to do with it.

Yes, my Chevelle does great with r134a. That POA valve does a great job of keeping the air out the vents at 33° too.

What have you done to your square lately??

I've used laquer thinner, accetone and probably other stuff too. After removing all old adhesive with a razor blade. Oh, the first trick to do before anything else, is stick a little piece of tape to the outside of the window, where the tab goes. Once the glue is gone, it's a guessing game.

What have you done to your square lately??

I've used the Permatex stuff many times over the years with good results. You absolutely MUST follow the directions to a T. I've seen guys use it and it doesn't work at all, but they have not been detail oriented guys. You must be clean, tidy and follow directions. Also do not mount the mirror...

    Cracks in transfer case

It's very common for some case castings to have flash that REALLY looks like cracks.

Why the Vintage Air dryer? Why didn't you just choose an original type accumulator to begin with?

What have you done to your square lately??

The buyer and seller have to be on the same page though, as they DO occasionally check up on that later on if someone finds it fishy. They must do random checks or something.

Internally v. Externally Balanced 383 ID

It is sort of accurate, I just worded my statement poorly. If it has the smaller bolt pattern flange, it is meant for use in a 1-piece rear main block which is mostly internally balanced. Yes, there would be a weight on the flexplate, but that's the only standard option for the later cranks and...

What does the rear crank flange look like? The internal balanced cranks had a different flange with a smaller bolt pattern.

The 4 bolt main LIE !!! Or is it???

Lol, mine's got an absolutely terrible 2.56:1 rear gear. It cruises the highway pretty well.

    17 inch steel wheels- 81 C10 2wd 5/6 static drop.

"Square" just means that all 4 corners are the same size. Different rim widths front vs rear is fine, so long as the tires are different widths as well. If not, I see no point in different rim widths.

    1987 Suburban R20 for sale

It's nice to see clean old Suburbans commanding decent money. 20 years ago, that would have been someone's parts rig for their pickup project.

The 4 bolt main LIE !!! Or is it???

The 454 in my C10 originally came in one of those G-van bodied RV's... I like to joke and say it has an RV cam. It's not a lie if you think about it, lol.

Gone, lol. Ain't nobody hops up RVs anymore. Many are probably diesel now too.

    Diagnosing mysterious sound from Tran/Tcase

This is what I've been saying here already. Sometimes the "correct" by the book driveline angle is not the correct angle in the real world. Your truck is a perfect example of that.

The 4 bolt main LIE !!! Or is it???

Because the mild, top of the page cams were often listed as "RV/Towing" for their applications. "RV cam" just means it's got a very mild, but not stock cam.
