    This makes sense. It would be a direct short to ground with either door open or the dome light swiched on at the headlight switch. The white wire is a switched ground and the orange is hot at all times.

    I ordered a pre programmed window switch and body control assembly and Installed it tonight. No luck! The truck still wont respond to the remotes. I can get it to go into programming mode but it will not respond to either of my two remotes.

    Just a thought..... If it sits correctly disconnected the cable might be pushing on the back of the speeo when you reassemble it. Try spraying some silicone or wd40 on the gommet where the cable comes through the fire wall. That way it slides easily and is less likely to push back when you put...

    Or you switched up the terminals when you put it together. Start by checking that all is as it should be and that the ground strap is present.

    I agree. And would add that as the suspension flexes the spring will want to get longer but the bar will prevent the front half of the spring from doing so without rotating the axle. I have seen bars like this done with a shackle of sorts in place on the front to allow for the change in spring...
