    Which is why I suggested you bring it to a suspension shop. 2-3 hours labor and it's done right and no brackets to ever worry about.

    I usually make my own. Usually about $20 for leaf spring mounts and an hour to weld them on. If you can't do it, any suspension shop should be able to.

    When i lived in Fort Worth, I would order large parts from vendors and pick up at Goodguys and Pate swap meet at TMS. Saved me hundreds if not thousands on shipping.

    Craziest antitheft idea yet.

    My opinion, the carguard steering column locks are one of the best devices to prevent theft. Turn the wheel all the way to one side, put the column guard on and they can't start the vehicle or turn the wheels straight which makes it awkward to tow. Unfortunately, its hard to find the originals...

    That's why I think its an oil ring issue. I've had those spacers pop out of the rails once or twice in my life and jam up and/or a rail fold over.
