    Just something to think about before you buy that used converter. Pull the trans pan and see if there is any significant pieces of clutch material in the bottom of the pan. If there is I'd suggest skipping getting the converter, as it will also have material in it, and would need to be flushed...

    You can still buy NEW Dana 60 hubs with rotors from RockAuto. My pair arrived today in plain brown boxes so I can't tell if it's USA or ? made. They look as good as any other rotors/hubs I've bought recently, here's the part # 177703.

    here's my .02 If the email I have is correct you can still buy new Dana 60 hubs with rotors, as I have ordered a pair. They are listed as $171 each without shipping. As soon as they arrive I will check them over and post a reply with part#'s if they look worth the money. Just waiting on FedEx.

    take a minute to look at those Detroit 4-53 swaps. That engine is almost the same size as a Cummins 6BT/ISB (Dodge truck). Trying to find something to make your truck unique is a job in itself. I wish you luck no matter what you choose to do.
