    Box fuel tank

the term 'gravity feed' got tossed out there and some were thinking TOTAL gravity feed to the carb and some were understanding gravity out of the fuel tank into a pump and then onto the carb. :)

What have you done to your square lately??

turning off the truck in gear is fine with me. it's when i want to keep the truck running and open my gate. my driveway is an incline so the truck rolls away faster than i can catch it. :)

anyone have a pic of under hood jack tool storage?

my son dropped off a squarebody jack and jack tool today. the jack was simple. the storage slot and keeper were still on the driver's side wheel well. my question is: where does the jack tool go? the fold in half jack twister tool. there is a keeper on the passenger side wheel well but a...

    speaker size

4x10 with SMALL magnets. most of the aftermarket 4x10 will come with 40 oz magnets and wont fit in the factory 'mounts'. the magnets will hit the cab wall. good luck!

    305 carb issues

i bought a re-manufactured q-jet and the truck starts/runs/drives reliably/consistently. unless i thought i'd make a crap load more ponies, there's no way i'd swap intakes and get a different carb for my normal/everyday 1985 k20. i don't adjust squat on the q-jet. set the vacuum and idle and...

What have you done to your square lately??

as i posted earlier, i rebuilt the rear 13" drum brakes. yesterday, i finally got the system bled to my satisfaction. proportioning valve/block got 'centered' and the rear brakes bled like they should. all old fluid flushed out (back brakes had been dry for ages apparently). the first/only...

Pick the fav car you owned but follow instructions:

if i don't post now, i'll forget. i'll try to come back with pics. 1) 1976 chrysler new yorker with 440 ... first car purchase ever. bought it while stationed in germany from a departing soldier. we crammed 6 to 8 g.i.s in that thing and went everywhere that wasn't under communist control in...

    Pillar mount unity spotlight

the handhelds are super convenient, no doubt about that. i prefer a pillar mount though. i actually do use these lights when out 'on the farm'. it is nice to point it, and it stays there, while i go fix whatever needs fixin' after the sun went down. my advice, make sure what you think is the...

What have you done to your square lately??

i put the historic vehicle plates on 'skidmark' and took a trip over to the unmanned state shooting range to pick up brass. (about a 10 mile round trip and the first with the newly issued plates) the new/reman/refurb/whatever carb 'tuned' for vacuum really woke that truck up on the highway...

    Battery disconnect switch...what gauge wire?

i'd just remote a high amperage latching relay and call it done. wouldn't have to worry about what gauge wire etc etc. you could even 'toggle' the relay from a 9v battery if you didn't want to run the relay actuation power from the vehicle battery. good luck!
