Floorboard Thickness
I am going to need to patch a couple spots in my floorboard. The holes are small and not really worth buying a whole floorpan. Does anyone know what thickness these floor pans are so I can get some at the metal shop and make a couple small patches? Also anyone had issues with these little plugs...- TravisB

Shock Extenders for 4" Drop?
Are you both saying it's best to buy drop shocks for a 4" drop in the rear? I may be able to get them in the kit I end up ordering as well. That could make this whole process a bit simpler I suppose. I am not really sold on those "extenders" anyway as it seems you would lose a lot of ground...- TravisB

My truck has those big mirrors too. You can really see behind you in them. I will probably leave them on my truck for that reason and leaving them be is cheaper and easier than changing them.- TravisB

SBC 350 with new cam will not start, only pops a couple times then nothing.
I read this and cringed. If you installed a flat tappet cam all that cranking couldn't have been good for it. Follow the break in procedure if you can.
