    K10 14bolt swap now rear brakes lock up before the front

    Fot years I ran an 80 SB with a 14FF & 10 bolt 8 lug. I never had an issue with braking. Have you tried to ease up on the shoe adjustment to slow engagement? HS

    I just used an SM465/NP205 from an '80 K30 and put it in my '78 K20. The frame difference is a couple inches and when trying to use the K30 crossmember it was hanging too low; a couple inches from the frame.     Thanks. It's still a bit disheveled due to the passing of our folks (all 4 in as many years). We got all the "stuff" that siblings didn't want. Much of that is under the lean-to. It's a 30x60x12. & I love being able to use it about 8 months a year! HS
