    The new guy from Texas

Welcome from the Tarheel State, Lucas. That looks like a fantastic ride you have and I'm partial as it is the same color as my dad's truck that he bought new in 79. He too was a logger and put over 400K miles on the C20 while he was alive. Come on in and have a good look around. HS

Is your truck painted? Primer hides alot of damage/imperfections that shiny & reflective paint won't dismiss. Interior stuff isn't cheap & neither is body & paint. I can't believe that a car would be in a non-running condition due to a $25 ignition coil & 20 minute fix. If I made the trade...

The 4 bolt main LIE !!! Or is it???

Everyone gets excited to pull the pan on a 3970010 & see the four-bolt caps in the center. Having said, the teenage version of me was helping my bud build a 350 with 041 heads & Melling cam. This was Christmas of 1990 & I knew about as much about engines than I did p$ssy...I did like both...

14 Bolt 10.5" Rear Axle -FOUND-

We had a 79 C30 car hauler that the tube broke out of the center section. Makes for a bad day for certain. I understand wanting a direct swap for the ease of the job too. HS

14 Bolt 10.5" Rear Axle -FOUND-

I used an '04 Savana with dual piston calipers on my '55 6100. I had to relocate the spring & shock perches but I love the added track width that evens the front & rear.

Latest Lost Cause Project: 1979 Z28

Drive it and enjoy! I am a fan of making them pretty but all too often folks go overboard and sink far too much time, energy, resources and MONEY into a ride. I like my stuff shiny but I'll drive one primered, Calico, zebra'd...as long as it runs right. I commented earlier that you have a...

    all time 4 wheel drive

There's a whole lot that ain't right with that rig BUT when dealing with 40+ year-old trucks there is plenty that can be "modified" or "repurposed" among these Squares. I see your handle of 72 Camaro and am disappointed that we did not get a pic of that. Welcome to the site and I'm just taking a...

What have you done to your square lately??

I finally got my K25 home. My SIL drove it while I tailed him; it sounds wicked with the .525 cam & long tube headers. He can't wait to rip it through the field! Here it is with the younger grandson. Healthy Square

    Rust Repair on Squarebody Chevy

What have you done to your square lately??

I have a few more engines that have been in the wait so may as well put one together for future use. I have an old stove bolt 6 on the floor that we bust off ever now & then. It's sitting on wood blocks & strapped to a bench leg. HS

What have you done to your square lately??

Been kinda hunt-peck on my Squares. I ordered a set of tall valve covers for the roller rockers on the 454 K25. I’m almost ready to fire this 350 that we’ve refreshed also. I want to make a run stand to get the new cam broken in, that’s another entire project as well. I want the engine ready...
