I removed all the smog equipment on my truck and I just dont know if there is any interest or value to those who want stock/original equipment? I do not know the working condition, just asking b4 i discard it.- Ken B

Battery to body ground
Forgive the old pic. the small battery to body ground wire circled in this pic. It was not hooked back up when the wiring harness was replaced. Is there such a thing as too many grounds? Any reason why this would not have been re landed to the core support? No i didnt do that wiring.- Ken B

Detent/Kickdown cable
How does someone find out what Kickdown/Detent cable is needed? Is it engine and trans combo? Is it year of truck? just overall lenght? I need one for my 81 c10 ....it had a straight six, i swapped to a 350 and need a new cable the old one is too long.- Ken B

I was driving yesterday and stood on the throttle and no impact like the secondaries were open or trying to. Sorry if i made it seem like i was just in the garage.- Ken B

Rainy morning,,, so maybe some garage time.... After a nice stress free drive yesterday I am researching why the secondaries arent opening on the quadrajet....stood on the throttle and no indication the carb is opening the secondaries. watched a couple of videos on how the secondaries are...- Ken B

Progress update. I got a timing light and checked timing it was way off. I set it about 10 before TDC backed out of the garage and accidentally left a tire mark on my driveway! Went for a couple mile drive and the backfire is gone runs soooo much better. There is more to do but at least it is...- Ken B

So I had a thought, the circled area has a new plate on it, the smog stuff was removed and this plate was installed. Could this, if not sealing correctly be an issue?- Ken B

i have other fish to fry....not going to stir anything else up...it stays as is for now my thought was a vacuum leak in the broken sensor....wrong assumption- Ken B
