Ok I taped a guage to the windshield. Got down to about 3 wot and while cruising around 50mph it was around 10. When it stumbled it dropped off for a second but jumped right back up to around 15. But the power hasn’t come back yet
Two new distributors on it so far just to make sure. I’ll rig up the vacuum guage so I can watch it while I’m driving. In gear the truck is about 15. I know it eventually gets to 0 or close at WOT but what am I watching for while just cruising?
Well I had a buddy come over last night. Drove the truck around with gas cap cracked. Stil cut out at 2500 rpm while driving. Pulled mechanical fuel pump off and just quickly rigged up a holly blue electric pump with a regulator. Same problem…I’m at a loss here
And I haven’t messed with the secondaries on the new carb yet besides adjusting the float. I bought a quick change kit for the springs. I need to put it on tonight
Ok thanks guys! I’ve got a fuel pressure gauge but that definitely doesn’t mean it’s reading right. But I haven’t messed with the lines yet because of that. I should know better then to assume something like that by now haha
