What new tools have you got lately?
Got this RivNut tool today. My Ford buddy had bought bedside cleats for his truck with the cheesiest POS hardware for installing the rivet nuts, which of course did not work. Having used the correct tool in my past life I went ahead and bought this one. Works perfectly! -

Finally got back around to the Blazer and finished up the bed rail caps. These were for 73-87 C/K trucks but the contours are correct for the Blazer too. Just have to cut to length and trim in around doors. I originally thought I’d get them covered in the same vinyl used on the seats but after... -

Yes. I’ve seen multi-million dollar machines fired up after maintenance, only to be shut down due to unexplained leaks. Proper sealants and torques had been used but new fasteners were a bit too long. They installed and torqued fine but provided very little clamping force as you were torquing...- WFarm

Ford 460 project
Keelan and I went on a road trip to Maryland to look at a 77 Ford in running condition that will accept the 460 engine when it’s ready. Brought this beast back on a trailer pulled by my F350. When I pulled the distributor to remove the intake manifold I found a wiring mess at the distributor. I posted earlier about the one harness, which I replaced. The other mess was for the 12v power and tach wire. Ordered the correct connector with pigtail, soldered, shrink wrapped and sleeved the... -
