I'm interested if the part is original to the K5. I have an original 70s K5 unused spare tire and rim which is date coded. I don't need the original tire but I've kept it. Maybe someone one would want the tire. I would give it away for free... if not then I'm about to toss it.
This delco fan blowers had date codes from the 1960s. For the 1970s I don't see any date code stamp.

The aftermarket door seals do not fit like the originals. Also the aftermarket door seals do not look like the originals. I have some NOS door seals and they fit without having to slam the door. The aftermarket door seals are too big.
I have an original GM Delco CB radio from 1978. These came with a combined CB and AM/FM antenna that ran thru a splitter. I don't have the joint antenna. I'm wondering if I can run the GM Delco CB radio with a dedicated CB antenna and use the existing windshield antenna for the AM/FM.
It is not using oil. I put in fresh motor oil and there is no milky color in the oil. The motor oil is new old stock from the mid 90s however. That might be a good thing since back then the motor oil had more zinc. The engine has not overheated.
Does this look like blue or white smoke?
The engine has sat for 15+ years with only an occasional engine startup for about 1-2 minutes over the 15 years. I rebuilt the carburetor, installed new fuel lines and a gas tank. The smoke is at startup and continues at idle after the engine is warm...
