    I think I will keep the 747 harness and modify the vortec intake to work on the early heads. It's hard to tell how long I keep this truck, but if it's long term I will most likely go with megasquirt or maybe even drop an LS engine in it.

    Ok. Well I really have no use for 2 tanks, so I will most likely eliminate a tank when I do this. A quick glance at rockauto looks like I will have about $120-$150 in a new tank, sending unit, and pump.
