    Anyone running the ProFlo4XT FI?

I have been running this setup on my '74 C20 for a couple years now. I opted for the Remote Sump Option as well, since I didn't want to swap out the gas tank for an F.I. Tank. Plus, the system was on sale AND the Remote Sump was FREE with a purchase. In the past, I had nothing but trouble with...

    Ground problem?

FWIW - I got tired of chasing ground issues with multiple ground locations. Many were in difficult to reach locations without removing other parts to get to the connections. So, I finally moved every ground to a Grounding Block that was placed in a more convenient location and grounded the block...

In Maine, I thought everyone let the wind and rain was their vehicles for them. "Ethel, pull the car out... storm's a com'in!"

Hold back the tears...it's gonna make you cry.

Sure it is... Tell them President Trump want's them to go to the crusher and not sold to a private party for $500. You'll have them inside a week. Seems to work for everything else these days.

Loud Bang, something broke, then bad vibration in park or driving

When I installed my Edelbrock EFI Conversion on my '74 project, I followed another threads suggestion and got a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee electric fan, which fit like OEM inside my factory shroud. I Drilled two small bolt holes in the shroud to line up with the fans side tabs and cut one small...

    Shaking while med-hard braking.

I have had rotors with "hard spots" that didn't wear like the rest of the rotor and had to be replaced, calipers that wouldn't maintain constant pressure, etc. A good front end shop will be able to diagnose it. Fortunately for me, my brother has his own business doing this for 40+ years...

    Instrument cluster lighting issues

I had a similar issue after someone else "worked" on my '73. A lot of weird "working" "not working" combinations with the lights, turn signals, flashers, etc... Ended up being a poorly reconnected ground wire.

    Dash bezel interchange

I wanted to preserve my OEM dash bezel on my '74 build, so I bought another " '74 " off Ebay. I reworked the gauge holes to accept my Speedhut gauges and had it hydro-dipped in Red/Black Carbon Fiber. When I went to install it, I discovered that the light hole was huge (on my OEM the light knob...

    Top end kit

Budget? Cheap Vortec Heads are several hundred, and used will need to be gone through. Also, Vortec Heads require a different intake manifold, as the mating angle between the manifold and heads is way off compared to standard heads and intakes. You will need different valve covers as well and...
