You got me curious so I did some checking. The build date on the truck is 8/89, the date code on the tire is 299 which I think translates to 29th week of 1999 so they were not original to the truck but the tire appears to be brand new unused. The window sticker, which I do have, says the tires... -

Ok, I just updated my avatar showing my new wheels and tires. I scrounged up a good set of OE wheels locally, cleaned them up painted them, bought trim rings and hub covers off of eBay. Mods, please understand I am NOT complaining, just throwing out food for thought. It would actually be easy to build up 50 posts just by responding to existing posts with comments that add no real value to the conversation such as I like that or good looking burb which I may or may not be guilty...
