best rear gears for 700r4
I have a 84 k10 with a newly swapped sbc350 paired with a 700r4 and it tends to slide in and out of OD at 65mph (ish) and wont hold speed. If I drop it in to 3rd gear it drives great at 2k rpms without issue. Could the rear gears be wrong for 700r4 if it has the original axel set up for the...- squarebodyScotty

@Grit dog It was a frame off rebuild, blasted and and epoxy sprayed frame , all new steel inner and outer, original box bed and cab, new doors , hood and tailgait. i do have a case of woolwax waiting to be applied when weather gets better. it wont fit in my shop so it has to come down from the...- squarebodyScotty

I've got a 84 K10 with a fresh engine rebuild and 700r w/4" lift and 33x12.5 mickey Thompson tires.
