    Vintage mag question

Not always, but usually, there will be a manufacturer's name or logo cast into the back of the wheel, along with the max load rating and size.

    Vintage mag question

American Racing had the Hurricane I and II, Western had the Cyclone and Cyclone II, Ansen had the Vane, Apollo had the Turbo and Twister, Appliance had the Turbo-Vec, Cragar had the Fan Star, E.T. had the Radial, Fenton had the Fanjet I and II, Formula had the S-159, International Mags had the...

    Vintage mag question

Oh, OK. If they were Westerns, I'd be interested. But being that those are 15x10, and 6 lug, you could spend a little time cleaning them up and probably get close to a grand for them on eBay. The set I bought on eBay was the first set I saw come up for sale in a year of looking. 5 lug ones...

    Vintage mag question

Are they Westerns? The 15 spoke Cyclone IIs? If you'd be willing to ship them to 30214, I am interested, depending on the condition.

Good choice in wheels! I love this design. These are the ones they recommended, you need the 7/16x20 1" long. https://lugnutguys.com/products/mag-lug-nut-7-16-20-round-top-1-0-shank-zinc-washer?variant=31082238214219

    Vintage mag question

Good to hear, that is kinda what I figured, just wasn't positive, and didn't want to make a catastrophic mistake based on ill conceived judgement. Only downside is that the one oddball wheel is also slightly shorter in the area where the spokes sprout out of the middle. It is barely noticable...

    Vintage mag question

Yeah, I'm pretty sure these trucks are lug centric. I think that the washers are only crucial on the unilug wheels, but these aren't unilug. I have the 1" long shank nuts, and the wheels are 1" thick at the lug area. I got the ones that Lug Nut Guys said I needed, and they seem to fit great...

    Vintage mag question

Yeah, it's .68" on all of them. I can slip the shank of the nut down into all 24 lug holes on all 4 wheels, and it fits nice and snug. I dunno about how the hub bore fits the truck, I don't have the truck here now, it's been in the shop since June. I'm hoping to get it back next month, but...

    Vintage mag question

Plenty of them out there, but the problem is they're all either 5 lug or 6 lug but only 8.5 wide. Or not a Western, so I'd need to buy a whole new set lol.

    Vintage mag question

I've got a set of 1970s Western Cyclone II wheels for my truck. These use the shank lug nuts with a washer. They are 6x5.5, not unilug. I thought I had a matching set, but one of them is slightly different. It's got an "RI" cast into the inside of the wheel next to the "15x10" casting. This...

    73-74 grille on a '77

What all would be involved in putting a '73-74 Chevy grille on my '77 GMC? Would I need the older trucks core support? Is there a way to put the GMC badge on instead of the bowtie? Thanks.

    Headlight bezel restoration

I have found a guy on one of the first gen cummins groups I'm in who takes parts down to Mexico to get them chromed the proper way, with all the old school environmentally disasterous chemicals. He quoted me $500 to chrome my bezels and upper/lower grille trim. Plus shipping the parts to him...

GM part number for door latches

Looking to buy some NOS door latches for both doors on my '77 K15, but I'd like to search for them by the correct GM part number so I know I'm getting the correct ones. I've seen them listed by several different part #s on eBay, so it's kinda confusing. Does anyone know what they are for each...

    15x10 with 3.5" backspacing?

I still want those wheels with that backspace lol.... they look badass. Where exactly will I need to trim the fenders? And will I still be able to use the original wheel opening trim if I do it? Or would it be better to just get a 6" lift instead of 4"?

    15x10 with 3.5" backspacing?

Looks like I can get them in 15x9 with 4.5" BS... would that be any better?
